The Davis Arab Community Diwan hosts a regular community gathering centered on Palestinian tatreez, the traditional cross-stitch embroidery. The Davis Tatreez Circle serves as a space for cultural preservation, creativity, and therapeutic community connection.

Beitna
Location: Davis Senior Center MPR, 646 A St, Davis, CA
The Davis Arab Community Diwan, in collaboration with Davis Arab-related organizations city wide, brings the Davis community together to recognize Arab American Heritage Month through Beitna: A Gathering for Arab Heritage, Culture, and Solidarity. Beitna, meaning “our house” in Arabic, features art displays, cultural performances, kids programming, poetry, food, and crafts, that highlight the richness and diversity of Arab culture. It’s a space to connect, learn, and engage with Arab American heritage while fostering community, solidarity and cultural pride.
